This book also includes a timeline of events with corresponding Bible passages, room to write prayer and reflection, a section for writing blessings, plus some activities to make things fun (with answers in the back).

Lisa’s first quarantine started three days after her husband was hospitalized with COVID-19. Months after he recovered, she was quarantined two additional times, and this is the story that spans the almost year-long struggle fighting the result of the virus. In this book, she includes interesting facts from around the world, her country, and her home state. She also includes her feelings during the tough time along with a faith that kept her going, leading to hope, peace, and promise.

This book was produced to go along with our church’s 9-week series in the book of Philippians but is written for anyone wanting to spend time in God’s Word. This devotional was not written with any one Bible version in mind. It is our hope and prayer that you will find this devotional compatible no matter what version you choose to use. The first day of the week is written as an overview of the Bible passages you will be looking at during the week. Days 2-6 break this passage into smaller parts. Day 7 is used for you to write down your thoughts and asks you 1 question regarding that week’s overall theme.
